Palace Bridge is the most famous bridge in St. Petersburg. It connects the central part of the city (Admiralteysky island) and Vasilievsky island. It is called in honor of the Winter Palace of Russian Emperors. This drawbridge is one of the main symbols of the city.

St. Petersburg, Senatskaya square
Monument to Peter I – Bronze Horseman is situated on Senatskaya square in St. Petersburg. The monument took its name from the Pushkin`s poem. Horse monument of Peter the Great is made from bronze by sculptor Etien Falcone in 1768-1770. The Peter`s head was made by Falcone`s student Mary-Anna Collo. According to Falcone`s idea Fedor Gordeev created a snake. Sculpture foundry was finished in 1778.

Peter and Paul Fortress is situated in St. Petersburg, on the Hare island. It is the historical core of the city. Every day from Naryshkin bastion a signal gun fires at noon. Peter and Paul Fortress has never been used to its original purpose.

Peter and Paul Cathedral is an Orthodox cathedral in St. Petersburg on the Hare island, burial-vault of Russian Emperors, architecture monument of Peter`s barocco. Peter and Paul Cathedral plays a very important role in the city landscape and is one of the main buildings in Neva banks panorama in St. Petersburg center. It is also an architecture symbol of the city.

Vasilievsky island
St. Petersburg, metro stations “Primorskaya” and “Vasileostrovskaya”. Vasilievsky island or blandly “Vas`ka” - is a loveliest place by the citizens. This is a special place, where wet sea air is sodden with empire greatness spirit.
Field of Mars
St. Petersburg, metro stations “Gostiny Dvor” and “Nevsky Prospekt”. A huge square in the center of the city is fully devoted to the wars and battles history.  Except exploring the monuments you can also hold a picnic there.

Summer Garden
St. Petersburg, Entrance №1 — Moika River quay, opposite to Mikhailovsky Palace; entrance №2 -  close to crossing of Fantanka quay and Pestel St. Alexander Pushkin, according to his own words, walked there in slippers and dressing gown. Anna Akhmatova devoted to this garden a famous poem.
Pavlovsk
