Bronze Horseman St. Petersburg, Senatskaya square Monument to Peter I – Bronze Horseman is situated on Senatskaya square in St. Petersburg. The monument took its name from the Pushkin`s poem. Horse monument of Peter the Great is made from bronze by sculptor Etien Falcone in 1768-1770. The Peter`s head was made by Falcone`s student Mary-Anna Collo. According to Falcone`s idea Fedor Gordeev created a snake. Sculpture foundry was finished in 1778. |
