Necessity of printing books appeared because the Church needed canonic texts in quantity to get rid of alternative versions in canonic literature. |

Monument to N. Gogol 7a, Nikitsky Boulevard, “Arbatskaya” metro station The monument was open in 1909 on Gogol boulevard on Arbat square . Sculptor – N. Andreev. Architect – F. Shekhtel`. The monument is open to 100 anniversary of N. Gogol. In 1951 the monument was removed to the Architecture Museum on the territory of Donskoi Monastery. In 1959 in honor of 150 anniversary from Gogol`s birthday, the monument was again removed to Arbat and installed in Nikitskii side street, in front of the house, where Gogol lived during the last years of his life. In 2009 therу opened Gogol Museum. The monument is made of bronze and granite. |

Monument to F. Dostoevsky 2, Dostoevsky st., “Novoslobodskaya” metro station First it was opened on 7. November 1918 on Tsvetnoy boulevard. In 1936 it was removed into a square of the former Mariinskaya Hospital, where writer`s father worked. Triumphal Arch Victory square, Kutuzov avenue, “Park Pobedy” First the Triumphal Arch was built in 1827-1834 on the Tverskaya Zastava square. In 1936 during the square reconstruction the Arch was destructed. November 1877 for Bulgaria liberation from the Ottoman yoke, was built in a square on Ilyinskie Vorota square. Architect – Sherwood, Lyashkin. Iron, zinc, stone. |

Memorial of Victory in the Second World War on Poklonnaya Hill Poklonnaya Hill, Victory Park, “Park Pobedy”. Poklonnaya Hill on Mozhayskaya road is situated between two rivers – Setun` and Fil`ka, between Minskaya street and Victory Park. Moscow fate was solved here several times. In 1612 here stayed hetman Zholkevsky. A delegation from Moscow, that wanted to give the throne to Polish Prince Vladislav, came to him to this place. On 2. September 1812 Napoleon waited here for deputations of Boyars with keys from the Kremlinб but didn`t wait till. In 1983-1995 there was built a Memorial of Victory in the Second World War and created Victory Park. |

Museum-preserve “Kolomenskoe” 39, Andropov avenue, “Kolomenskaya” As an old story says, appearance of Kolomenskoe Selo is connected to the tragic events of the 14. century. In 1337 Kolomna town was precipitated by numerous Batyi horde. In a fierce fight a son of Chingiskhan Kulkan was killed. For his death Batyi ordered to destroy the city and kill one and all in it, that was executed. |

It was first mentioned in Ivan Grozny times, who gifted Izmailovo in 1573 to tsarina Anastasia`s brother – Nikita Zakhar`in-Yuriev. |
